According to U.S. News and World Report, SCM is one of 20 hot job tracks for the 21st century and is listed in the top 10 industries in Nebraska. One out of 11 jobs in Nebraska is in SCM. The University of Nebraska at Kearney's Marketing Department recently received the University of Nebraska’s highest award for teaching, the University Departmental Teaching Award, and the University of Nebraska at Kearney's Departmental Teaching Award for three consecutive years.
