The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Concentration in Hospitality Management is an intensive and innovative degree which fosters a strong foundation in hotel management, leadership, operations, and entrepreneurship. Courses are balanced between academic theory and professional practice.
Students acquire a spectrum of hospitality knowledge from understanding food and beverage and guest service operations, to learning how to analyze a profit and loss sheet, roll out a marketing strategy, organize a commercial event, and recruit a talented workforce. With experienced faculty and small class sizes, students receive the individual support and preparation they need to turn their experience into expertise and achieve excellence.
Students directly apply their knowledge through hands-on, professional experience during three academic semesters of paid, practical training in luxury hotels. Previous students at Vatel have worked at our partner host hotels, which include the Waldorf Astoria, Peninsula, SLS, and Sofitel.
Alliant International University is accredited by the W.A.S.C. Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). W.A.S.C. is a regional accrediting body recognized by the US Department of Education.
Applicants must have successfully graduated from a recognized high school program or have proof of high school equivalency. The minimum GPA requirement is 2.0. Minimum English proficiency for international students is as follows: IELTS – 5.5, TOEFL – 50, PTE – 45, CAMBRIDGE – 165, CEFR – B2, iTEP Academic – 3.5, DET – 37-48. Additional admissions requirements may apply.
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a Concentration in Hospitality Management is a total of 120 semester units.

Tuition is charged by session/semester unit at $587 per unit with a total of 120 semester units. This does not include costs for books and supplies or room/board and fees.
