Our Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program aims to provide students with the academic knowledge and practical experience that will give them transferable skills for employment in their chosen specialized field. On the BSBA program, students are provided with a career-oriented education that will develop their understanding of social responsibilities of business by introducing them to disciplines of humanities, social sciences and global culture. Additionally, students will develop a professional understanding of the different disciplines of management and the ability to analyze and solve complex business challenges. A range of concentrations in Accounting, Retail Management and Logistics & Supply Chain Management allow our students to gain in-depth practical and functional knowledge, providing them with the transferable skills for full-time employment.


Exchange and Dual Degree Program

Our students have the opportunity to spend one semester with any of our partner universities based in France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Ireland, UK, Australia the US and various other countries in Asia and Europe. I.M.T. Dubai in collaboration with Arizona State University, USA, Kingston University, USA and EM Normandie, France offers study abroad programs. This program may entitle the student to acquire dual degrees from both, I.M.T. Dubai and one of the partner universities.

Our BSBA Program requires students to complete a minimum of 120 course credits to graduate. The curriculum consists of three main categories of courses:

This concentration prepares students for accounting careers in commercial, governmental and non-profit entities. The courses help students to gain knowledge in various financial aspects of a business and other related disciplines. It also allows graduates to qualify for professional accountancy examinations.

Entry Requirements

I.M.T.-Dubai generally seeks the following attributes in successful applicants:

Good Academic Standing

Applicants to the BSBA Program must hold a recognized and official secondary school certificate. Applicants are expected to have a CGPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Students with a CGPA between 2.00 – 2.49 may be admitted on probation basis at the discretion of the admissions manager. Below are the minimum requirements from some global curricula (if yours is not listed, please contact our admissions office):

  • American High School Diploma Overall average of Grade “C” (70% or 2.5/4.0)
  • Ordinary (O) Levels, AS Levels and/or A Levels - with at least 7 GCE/GCSE/IGCSE subjects Minimum 3 B’s and 4 C’s
  • CBSE Indian Examination Board – 55% overall in grade 12
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma (26 Points)
  • Shahadat Al-Thanawiya Al-Amma (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) 70% overall in Grade 12
  • WAECO/NECO Senior School Certificate Examination – Minimum 3 “B” and 4 “C”

Proficiency in English

Applicants must also demonstrate English language proficiency by providing one of the below qualifications:

  • IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 5.5 with at least 5.0 in each band
  • Internet-based TOEFL: Score of 71
  • International paper-based TOEFL: Score of 525

Note: Applicants that do not meet these requirements may be admitted on academic probation.
