General

Program Description

Chemistry students have the option to major in chemistry (no concentration), or focus on a specific concentration which includes:

  • Biochemistry
  • Pre-pharmacy
  • Forensic science

Core courses include the following: general chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, instrumental analysis, biochemistry, and physical chemistry.

The Division of Mathematics and Natural Sciences

The Division of Mathematics and Natural Sciences offers undergraduate training that leads to a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, chemistry, and mathematics. Each student works with an advisor to plan the program of study that best meets their professional goals. Also, students are encouraged to complete internships or participate in research experiences in the summer.
