The final year degree completion Bachelor of International Management degree preparing students for broader management responsibilities from a globalization perspective. Its goals are for students to:

  • develop an understanding of the increasing interdependency of political, economic, socio-cultural, technological, environmental and legal factors and its impact on global business andmanagement practices.
  • demonstrate how critical thinking must be applied in both domestic and international business settings.
  • acquire skills to decisively identify problems, obtain relevant data in the most optimized fashion, in order to critically analyse its causes and to design and evaluate alternative strategies, and implement and monitor the best choice.
  • effectively deal with others; by being aware of recent developments in behavioural sciences and to cultivate an appreciation for diversity and cultural differences in an increasingly globalised business and management context.
  • obtain an interdisciplinary understanding of fundamental concepts and principles from the various business disciplines andthe importance of corporate ethical and social responsibility in its practice.
  • think broadly and to bridge all gaps between the theories and the actual practice of effective management.

Teaching Methodology

  • Those studying for the qualifications of the CSSS are offered a structured learning process, encompassing both the theoretical and practical aspects of the industry, integrating the various subjects, together with a clearly defined pattern of career development through progressive grades of membership.
  • Students can achieve the guided learning hours in combination of face to face classroom interactions, attending seminars, visits to the businesses, self-study and group study as well as research work. Students will be required to attend a certain number of lecture hours to support their studies, and will receive guidance to complete the learning hours.
  • Students completing this qualification should beable to demonstrate their ability as independent students. They will berequired to participate in class giving opinions and views based on complementary readings. All participants are encouraged to analyse and solve case studies based on real and simulated business situations for training purposes.
  • Assessment of students' work will be carried out by a range of methods including closed book written examination, investigative assignments, presentations or work assessment. Students’ work will be measured against the specified learning outcomes and assessment criteria of each unit.

Entry Requirement

CSSS welcomes qualified applicants with no discrimination towards their gender, age, cultural, ethnic, religious and racial backgrounds.

Admission at CSSS sets minimum criteria which have been designed to identify applicants who have sound academic potential and who show creativity, critical thinking, social and moral values, evidence of Englishlanguage proficiency and strong motivation.

  • Higher secondary school or completed A leve
  • Proficiency in English

Mature Applicant

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in middle management (or equivalent, respective to the profession)
  • If you have relevant qualifications or work experience, academic credit may be awarded towards your CSSS program of study. For further information please send email to our course coordinator

English language requirements

  • You must have competence in English language to study with us. The most commonly accepted evidence of English language ability is IELTS 5.5 (with minimum 5.0 in all components).
  • If you don't meet our minimum English language requirements, student must take CSSS online English test

Students are eligible to apply for the grant if they have been offered a place to study on a full-time course at Castelldefels School of Social Science in Barcelona;

Merit-based Grants

Open For: Based primarily on grades, academic scholarships reward students with strong academic performance.Candidates should also describe how the academic merit and professional success has provided them with leadership potential.

Need-based Grants

Need-based scholarships are awarded based on student or student’s parents’ financial background. These need-based scholarships are designed to aid with studies when students or their guardians are not able to afford tuition and fees.

Women in Business

There’s been great progress in bridging the gap between equal rights of men and women — but we still have a way to go. The Women in Business Grant is for female applicants who have work or internship experience or have led a team in an international environment. For this scholarship, CSSS is seeking female leaders who have experience and understand today’s global workingenvironment.

Accredited Disability Grant

The Accredited Disability Grant is a discretionary fund intended to help support students with disabilities who are not eligible for statutory funding.

Please choose your scholarship and then email the completed corresponding application form to your admissions officer or at with the rest of the documents required for admission. Please also include:

  • A copy of your most current CV or provide us with a brief history of your previous employment or work placements/internships.

CSSS help to guide through how to create a sharp resume and an individualized cover letter that expresses your interest in the internship or future job.

Mock Interviews

For many student’s, they feel interview as interrogation and have anxiety however interview is nothing than a mutual exchange of the information. CSSS provides mock interview as the opportunity to learn about the job and the employer and be confident. CSSS has been supporting students by arranging following

Career Fairs and Networking

CSSS organize as many career fairs and encourage students to attend fair sessions as this give will them the opportunity for internships, jobs and to develop good networking. Students can benefit solicit information, advice and facilitate their job search.

Graduate Internships

CSSS Academic Internship Agreement allows students to do internship as fundamental part of the study which can be extremely beneficial.
