Program Description

The Bachelor of International Management with a specialization in Digital Marketing will provide you with a profound understanding of new and diverse strategies, progressive marketing tools, and effective communication. Program

The program requires the successful completion of 180 credits (which represent, 1800 contact hours plus a total of 3600 study hours). The program consists of 4 groups of courses common for all bachelor’s degrees, from which students may select the desired subjects to study:

General Education (45 ECTS), Core Courses (72 ECTS), Elective Courses (15 ECTS), Specialization Courses (36 ECTS) and the Bachelor Thesis (12 ECTS), which are mandatory to complete the selected specialization.

Entry requirements

Students who wish to apply to a Geneva Business School bachelor’s degree must have successfully completed their final secondary school examinations and any other required examinations qualifying them for university admission in their country or in the country where their secondary school studies took place.

  • Swiss Maturité, International Baccalaureate of minimum 30 points, 3 A-levels, high school diploma or equivalent
  • IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 70 (official English exam results) or proof of studying previously in an English-speaking environment for a minimum of 3 years
  • A scanned copy of all required academic diplomas, transcripts, and academic certificates
  • A 500-word written response to a business case study
  • An interview with a representative from the academic team on their chosen campus. Their response to the case study will be discussed in the interview.
  • Photocopy of a valid passport / national ID
  • 1 reference letter from a former teacher or employer

While our admission requirements remain unchanged, we will provide support to prospective students whose exam results will be affected by the current global health situation. Admission Protocol

  1. Application: Applications are only reviewed once all documentation is submitted and admission criteria met.
  2. English Exam: As English is the official language at Geneva Business School, TOEFL/IELTS test scores, or phone or face-to-face interviews, measure each student’s English proficiency level. In some cases, online English tests may be accepted.
  3. Phone Interview: After all the references have been checked, students will have to conduct a final phone interview.

Admission Criteria for Credit-Transfer Students

Transferring from another higher education institution

  • Students who have studied at another institution prior to applying to Geneva Business School may request to have their transcripts evaluated for credit transfer.
  • All registration requests should be addressed to the Admissions Department for consideration.
  • A credit transfer evaluation request, a CV and a brief essay of the students’ academic achievements must be submitted to the Registrar, who reviews the application. Only courses deemed relevant to the Geneva Business School program are accepted as transfer credit.
  • The Registrar informs the Admissions Department of the final decision.
  • Once the student has been officially enrolled at Geneva Business School, previously earned transfer credits are not considered or validated.

Credit transfer allowance

  • Bachelor Programs: Maximum number of transfer credits is 120 ECTS credits

Bachelor programs: the maximum number of transfer credits is 120 ECTS. If the transferring student’s previous academic credentials are not from the European ECTS system, the Registrar converts accumulated credits to correspond with the ECTS system (Europe).

Fees

Barcelona Campus

  • Application Fee: €150 (Non-refundable, paid upon application)
  • Administration Fee: € 1,900 (One-time fee, a refund of 80% if the entry visa or the residence permit is refused by the Visa Authorities)
  • Tuition per semester: € 6,950 (Total 3-year program / 6 semesters) (Refund of 100% if the entry visa or the residence permit is refused by the Visa Authorities)

Geneva Campus

  • Application Fee: €150 (Non-refundable, paid upon application)
  • Administration Fee: CHF 3000 (One-time fee, a refund of 80% if the entry visa or the residence permit is refused by the Visa Authorities)
  • Tuition per semester: CHF12,450 (Total 3-year program / 6 semesters) (Refund of 100% if the entry visa or the residence permit is refused by the Visa
