Bachelor of Fine Arts (Animation)

The Bachelor of Fine Arts (Animation) is focused on practical screen production with an emphasis on screenwriting, direction, and editing. The program is characterized by regular opportunities to gain practical and collaborative skills through developing your own short productions.

Students also undertake Critical Studies subjects that introduce them to the practice of critical self-reflection in the context of wider contemporary art practices and have the opportunity choose electives from other specializations across the Victorian College of the Arts and the University of Melbourne.
