Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
The undergraduate program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education, integrating a practical, hands-on experience. This emphasis on the practical component of the program is to ensure that students are receptive and able to adapt to the new evolving trends in technology.
The courses, which are delivered, are all in the foreground of their fields and include such areas as energy systems, electronics, communications, antennas and microwave techniques, control systems and signal processing. From the sixth semester onwards, students select elective courses specializing in their particular area of interest. This gives students the opportunity and time to make an informed choice as to their specialization area. In addition to the course requirements, students must also complete an in-service training (minimum of two months) in a related industry over two consecutive summers.
