Graduates will obtain higher education and a Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering as well as a commercial pilot license (FROZEN ATPL CPL) which allows working as a pilot!
In second year student will start a practise, students are expected to pass a medical examination. Should a student fail to pass the said examination, he/she will have a possibility to continue studies in the specialty of an aeronautical engineer.
Training of such specialists is conducted by the Academic and Professional Aviation Centre of TSI (APAC) whose activity is certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). Training of specialists complies with the international standards in the field of civil aviation (ICAO).
Theoretical preparation: knowledge of Mathematics, Physics, and English is of key importance. During the assessment, the school and exam grades of these disciplines are evaluated additionally. A special skill assessment can be organized by the Institute for those having low or no grades from their secondary school.
Emotional, social competence and aptitude: all candidates must go through special tests and interviews developed by the selection commission Transport and Telecommunication Institute for social competence and aptitude assessment.

Accreditation: Pursuant to amendments to the Law on Institutions of Higher Education proclaimed on 4 July 2018, the programme implemented in the study direction "Mechanics and Metalworking, Heat Power Industry, Heat Engineering and Mechanical Engineering" "Bachelor of Engineering Science in Aviation Transport" has been accredited until 31 December 2021.
