The Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education is offered by the College of Education in response to the current educational needs. No institution in Qatar other than Qatar University currently provides an undergraduate degree in secondary education.
The program aims to help students gaining the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary for secondary school teachers, implementing student-centered, standards-based pedagogy at the secondary level. Participate in the ongoing progress of teaching and learning. Contribute to ongoing educational research in Qatar by teaching and modeling inquiry methodologies and data-informed instruction.

Vision
The Bachelor of Education degree in Secondary Education is designed to meet national professional standards and international teacher accreditation standards in order to prepare the highest quality secondary school teachers (G 7-12) for the State of Qatar. Graduates from this program will be equipped with both the content and the pedagogical knowledge and skills necessary to implement the college’s conceptual framework by shaping future generations of secondary school students.

Program in Secondary Education is to prepare prospective teachers to be reflective practitioners, with excellence in pedagogy and expertise in the field of concentration by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary for high-quality teaching and learning. Through a motivating, interactive, and research-based learning environment that blends theory, reflective practice, and technology, the program seeks to create distinguished decision-makers and ethical facilitators of teaching and learning who actively seek out opportunities to grow professionally.

Career Development Center
The Career Development Center provides counseling, training, and professional development services and helps to prepare students to engage and compete for the best career opportunities. It specializes in providing QU students with student employment during their study at QU. Additionally; the Center assists students with sponsorship, internship, and full-time job opportunities and provides numerous career-related resources, programs, and activities.
The Career Development Center at Qatar University shall be the benchmark of Career Services in the region and generate the future leaders of the Qatar National Vision 2030 by helping our students and alumni realize their career dreams.
