Program Description

Marketing is about successfully positioning, promoting and distributing products and services in a consumer environment.

A specialized degree in marketing is an excellent platform for direct entry into this field of work. If you are a good communicator with an aptitude for creative and conceptual thinking, the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) - Marketing in UAE will prepare you for a career in this dynamic profession.

The program will help you understand the principles of marketing, including promotion, pricing, and distribution. You will gain the knowledge and skills to evaluate alternative marketing strategies and to implement effective campaigns, based on financial, organizational, environmental and ethical criteria. You will also develop your competencies in critical thinking, qualitative and quantitative data analysis and business performance evaluation.

Accreditation and Recognition

This program is accredited by the UAE Ministry of Education - Higher Education Affairs and is fully recognized within the UAE, GCC nations and internationally for further education and employment in the private and public sectors.

In addition, the program is quality assured by UOW, which is registered with the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA), the national regulator of the higher education sector in Australia. UOWD graduates have the opportunity to exchange their UOWD degree for the equivalent UOW Australia degree after completion.


Program Structure

To qualify for the award of the degree of Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing), a candidate shall accrue an aggregate of at least 204 Credit Points (cp) which include 60 cp of General Education, 54 cp from program core, 6 cp Capstone subject and the specific major requirements.
