*The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree is awarded by Northwood University, which is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Hotel Institute Montreux awards its own separate degree confirming the successful completion of Northwood University’s BBA program and this degree is a formal recognition by Hotel Institute Montreux of the tertiary standards achieved by BBA graduates.

Course Description
Year 1 Food & Beverage and Rooms Division Management
Develop an understanding of kitchen processes and gain hands-on experience in food & beverage service. Acquire expertise in rooms division, consisting of front office operations and housekeeping.
Year 2 Management Application and Specialization
Develop hospitality management skills and choose your specialization (Financial Analysis and Wealth Management, Human Capital and Development, Management for the Senior Living Industry, Franchise Business Management or Luxury Brand Management) to gain in-depth knowledge of your sector of interest.
Year 3 Hospitality Management and International Business
Build on your previous studies and develop a strong understanding of international business in preparation for a career in the international world of the hospitality business.
Entry requirements
Completed secondary school education (IB Diploma, IBCP Diploma*, Maturité, Abitur, French Bac, 2 A-levels, high school diploma or equivalent)
English language proficiency of IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 55 or equivalent**
Recommended minimum age of 18 years***
*Direct Entry options may be available for IBCP Candidates. For further details or an individual assessment, please kindly contact ibcp@swisseducation.com. **Please note that if you require a visa, Swiss authorities need to be provided with a valid TOEFL or IELTS score (not older than one year). ***Please note that students must be 18 years of age to commence an industry internship.

Application Deadline
You are advised to submit your online application as soon as possible as places are limited in the school.
For students who require a visa to enter Switzerland, it is important that you contact the Swiss Embassy in your home country to find out the length of time necessary for your visa application. In certain countries, it may take up to 12 weeks for a visa to be approved.
Scholarships and Payment Plans
At the Swiss Education Group, we are committed to making quality hospitality education accessible to students, independent of their financial background. While the Swiss Education Group, as a private institution, cannot currently provide full scholarships, we offer a set of financial aid solutions for qualified and motivated students.
Each scholarship has specific criteria and applications will be examined on a case by case basis.
All scholarships are calculated on the tuition fees only and cannot be combined with other fee reductions. Limited scholarships are available every year on a first come first serve basis.
