The Bachelor of Business Administration gives students the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of management and professional practice, and the option to specialize in a range of industry-specific disciplines. Students have flexibility in determining the structure of their study.
The international business specialization prepares graduates to respond to the complexity of global markets, addressing issues such as cross-cultural communication and negotiation, alternative market structures, variations in consumer demand patterns and differing government regulations and law. Students graduate with an understanding of leadership, strategy, cultural diversity, communication and decision-making as it relates to contemporary international business issues.
Graduates may find opportunities in management roles within private and government organizations, human resource management, marketing, international business, finance, information systems, and management.

With a focus on policy and planning, our research analyses regional economic development, corporate governance, human resources, leadership, entrepreneurs, organizational change, and customer research.
The School has about 4000 students studying in Australia and offshore. They are supported by approximately 40 full-time staff who possess academic and professional qualifications and experience.
Assessment may be in the form of essays, reports, audio or video presentations, online quizzes, case analyses or problem resolutions and examination.
Modules are taught in a face-to-face manner.
In addition, students attending the day programme must achieve at least 90% class attendance to be eligible to sit for the examination.
Upon the successful completion of the programme, graduates will be awarded the Bachelor of Business Administration by Southern Cross University. Graduates may use the designatory title BBA after their names.
Applicants must be of aged 18 and above, and meet at least one of the following requirements:
- MDIS Advanced Diploma in Business Administration (International Business)*; OR
- Equivalent Business related Diploma qualification from a local Polytechnic; OR
Other relevant Diplomas may be considered for entry on a case-by-case basis
*Applicants need to have completed the MDIS Diploma in Business Administration (International Business) or equivalent Diploma or related qualifications as assessed by SCU.
- Applicants who have completed senior secondary study to the equivalent of the Australian year 12 in Singapore and the language of instruction was English; or
- Applicants who have completed at least one year of full-time study (or equivalent part-time study) at AQF diploma equivalent or higher in Singapore and the language of instruction was English; or
- Applicants with at least Grade C6 Pass in English at GCE 'O' Level plus a Singapore Diploma where the language of instruction was English are not required to provide proof of English language proficiency.
All other applicants are required to sit for one of the following English tests and achieve the minimum required score:
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): achieve 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in any subset; OR
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) paper-based: achieve a score of 550 with a minimum of 4.5 in the test of written English; OR
TOEFL internet-based: achieve a score of 60 with no writing/speaking score less than 17 and no reading/ listening score less than 11; OR
Pass MDIS Professional Certificate in English (PCIE); OR
- An equivalent as deemed by Southern Cross University.
