About

The specialization of the BA in Security and Strategic Studies, in Disaster Management, envisions a wide variety of expected or unexpected events that request security effectiveness and strategic planning ahead of a possible crisis. It also requires contingency planning in case of an unexpected disaster that ranges from natural to man-made. Specialty courses, encompass an analysis of the causes, how a crisis occurs and the short and long-term consequences on how a crisis can be avoided or averted.

Admission Requirements

1. Attested high school (grade 12) certificate or its equivalent with a minimum average of 60% | for scientific, literary streams, general, advanced and ADEC. Other streams will require a minimum score average of 70% Equivalency letter will be required for certificate earned outside UAE

2. English proficiency PBT 500 | iBT 61 | IELTS Academic. 5.0 | PEARSON 44 | IESOL B1/B2 | CAMBRIDGE 154 | EmSAT English 1100 If an above score has not been achieved yet, the student will be accepted conditionally and enroll in the intensive English classes
