Bachelor of Arts in Interaction Design

General

Program Description

This program takes future designers on a journey that explores the look, feel and behavior to create positive experiences through technology.
In the vast and fast-paced discipline of Interaction Design, our study program prepares you to work in the creative industry where you put the human, instead of the function, as the starting point of designing the interaction with technology.

Your career choices

With a trained grasp of design concepts and practical implementation competence, you will be responsible for the look, feel and user-friendliness of the software you are working on. You will be able to create low-fidelity sketches and pixel-perfect mockups, validate different designs and style approaches by conducting split A/B tests and measuring product performance. Because you will be the joining bolt in a team of marketers, product managers, coders and other stakeholders, you will master an empathetic and cooperative style of communication. As an interaction designer, you don’t just make things that work look pretty. You are responsible for the alignment with customer interests and therefore the success of your digital project.
We will not tell you, what (or who) you will be after graduating at CODE – this decision will be totally up to you. But to give you an idea, we recommend you head over to Digitale-leute.de for some very interesting interviews with interaction designers from the digital economy.
