Introduction
Interested in the rich field of communication? At Bellarmine, our courses blend class work with hands-on application and field experiences to teach new communication technologies as well as the many facets of human communication: interpersonal, intercultural, mediated and group.
In addition to offering a rich and exciting curriculum inside the classroom, the Communication Department is home to Bellarmine Radio, The Concord newspaper, NEXU Student Agency, a media production suite and a lively sports-broadcasting YouTube channel that covers BU athletics.
Bellarmine communication students take advantage of Louisville’s business, journalism and communication landscape for networking, guest speakers and internships from across the industry. Our students enjoy many opportunities for active learning, whether in a Mac lab, a production suite or on location at one of many top internship sites. If you want to study in an industry that never sleeps, then find your passion with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.
