A degree in the Liberal Arts at the University of Windsor provides students with the opportunity to pursue lifelong learning, a capacity for leadership, and self-advocacy skills. Moreover, students will be able to build a personalized educational experience while exploring their personal and professional interests. Liberal Arts majors at UWindsor are treated to an elite neo-classical education where you will grasp historical perspectives and create exciting insights for the future. After selecting courses out of personal and professional interests, you can take modernized courses in such pervasive topics as the diffusion of innovations, human networks, knowledge management, auctions, public speaking, leadership, business, and computer science. General Degree

The general degree in Liberal Arts and Professional Studies is a challenging, three-year program with courses from such areas as business, social science, humanities, arts and science. The program coordinator will assist you in developing areas of focus that will serve your personal, academic and professional interests. The general degree is also an excellent way to explore academic options. You may also obtain prerequisite courses for other programs on campus while studying in Liberal Arts in order to continue on into other areas of academic interest.

Honours Degree

The honours degree in Liberal Arts and Professional Studies is a challenging, four-year program with courses in such areas as business, social science, humanities, arts and science. This is an excellent degree if you are considering such further academic studies as education, law, business or graduate school. The program coordinator will assist you in developing areas of focus that will serve your personal, academic, and professional interests. The honours degree allows you more access to upper-year courses and more in-depth study of your personal interests.

Admission Requirements

The OSS Diploma and six Grade 12 U or M courses, including ENG4U, are required. Students who wish to pursue major courses in the Faculty of Science should achieve a minimum of 70% in their math and science prerequisite high school courses. Entrance average: 70%.
