The Bachelor of Accounting, also known as the Bachelor of Accountancy, is the principal academic degree in accountancy in many countries.
This four-year degree often requires study sufficient for professional practice in financial accounting, management accounting, auditing, and taxation.
The curriculum also includes intermediate coursework in business law and economics and general coverage of management theory, business mathematics, and statistics. Some programs allow students to specialize in topics like Tax Accountancy, Auditing, or Forensic Accountancy.
Tuition for a Bachelor of Accounting program starts at $24,000 USD per academic year, although partial merit scholarships are available for high performing international students based on IELTS (6.5+) and TOEFL (90+) exam scores as well as CGPA and SAT (1150+) exam scores.
Many accounting programs incorporate training and practical experience, in the form of research projects, presentations, and OPT and CPT opportunities.
