As a graduate of the Southern Cross Bachelor of Accounting program, you will use your skills in management accounting, statistical analysis, portfolio management and risk, and apply your strong understanding of professional ethics and sustainability.

They may also typically find employment in areas such as financial and business advisory services, tax, business consulting, business planning, business valuations, employee relations, estate and trust planning, forensic accounting and sustainability strategy development.

This accreditation will enable graduates to enroll in CAANZ, CPA Australia, and the IPA postgraduate programs. Subject to the choice of specific units, this degree fulfills the educational requirements for:
- Registration as a BAS Agent and a Tax Agent by the Tax Practitioners Board
- Financial advisers as determined by Australian Securities and Investments Commission Regulatory Guide 146 (RG146 Registration).
Major Areas of Study
The course includes core units in taxation, financial services, law, marketing and communication with elective units in advanced taxation, human resources, competitive strategy, business environment, and law.
