Stamford’s Bachelor of Accountancy program equips students with a solid knowledge of accounting and sound practical, analytical, and communication skills. Students study five areas of Accounting: Taxation, Financial Accounting, Auditing, Management Accounting, and Accounting Information Systems. The faculty is dedicated to teaching and highly qualified.
Dual Degree Options
Students in the Bachelor of Accountancy program can further their knowledge of the world while boosting their employability with dual degree options. They can obtain a second Bachelor’s degree in, among others, International Accounting from The University of Northampton, or in Accounting & Finance from The University of the West of England. This second degree can be achieved with an additional nine months’ study in the UK.
CIMA University Partner
The world-renowned CIMA is a professional organization for Management Accountants. Students of the Bachelor of Accountancy program students get ten exemptions at CIMA papers. On successful completion of the Operational Case study (OCS) exam accounting students are awarded the CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting.
ACCA Silver Learning Partner
ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) has granted Stamford International University the status of Silver Learning Partner. This means exemptions are available for students taking ACCA exams.
Industry and Academic CollaborationsThe accounting program also collaborates with global accountancy bodies such as CIMA, ACCA, consulting firms, government organizations, and accounting firms. Students take part in industry projects with eminent organizations like SAP and Bangkok Flight Services (BFS), etc. These collaborations provide a competitive edge as students get real-world experience.
