Bachelor of Arts in Psychology

General

Program Description

Medaille's bachelor's degree in psychology invites you to gain a thorough grounding in the principles of psychology, suitable for building a successful career in almost any field.

Embark on a journey of learning how people truly work — yourself, those around you, and our influence in the world. You’ll master the arts of thinking critically, scientific reasoning, and how to effectively apply research methods. Immerse yourself in special topics such as trauma-informed care, the human/animal bond, popular psychology, and even delve into the legitimacy of pseudo-sciences. You’ll graduate prepared to pursue a master’s degree, doctoral studies, or to enter the career of your choice.

"My degree will not only afford me the opportunity but, it's truly bigger than me. I strongly believe it will help me better my community and the lives of so many more. As long as I can remember, I've wanted to be a physician. I don't see myself doing anything else for the rest of my life."

Tyler Carr, Psychology/Pre-Med Major
