Elementary Mathematics Education Program is a bachelor's degree within the Department of Mathematics and Science Education, Faculty of Education. It is a program that educates elementary mathematics teachers for grade 5-8. classes.
The primary objective of the undergraduate program is to train qualified elementary mathematics teachers who are capable of contributing to national and international practices in their field. These teachers are open to learning and development, having the ability to perform their profession effectively, and making leadership in the field, thinking reflectively and critically.
Students who are enrolled in this undergraduate program are awarded the Bachelor of Science in Elementary Mathematics Education after graduating from a four-year undergraduate program. Our graduates, who complete their education with qualified faculty staff in a rich learning environment, will be more advantageous in finding a job in elementary mathematics teaching.
