The cultural and professional objective of the degree course in management engineering is to create professionals who are able to fill organizational and managerial roles for which basic technical skills are required.
The cultural profile is characterized by an interdisciplinary, flexible and systemic mentality: the functions that the management engineer is called to perform concern the monitoring of the innovation and change processes that characterize the business systems in their physical components to an increasingly significant extent, organizational and informational.
At the same time, the degree course provides the basis for the preparation of highly qualified technicians who, through the continuation of the studies, will be able to promote technological innovation and to design and manage complex systems. The main areas of competence of the three-year Management Engineer degree are business economics, business management, management and organization of production systems, business logistics (procurement, material handling, transport, and distribution).
