Introduction
The USAL International Relations Degree - one of the first university institutions to disseminate the study of this discipline in the country - is organized according to the most up-to-date scientific criteria. It is intended that its graduates know and understand the international reality in depth, develop a broad analytical and problem-solving capacity and that in each of the areas of specialization they have the appropriate tools to address specific issues. Likewise, those who aspire to pursue a diplomatic career are prepared to face the demands of entering the Foreign Service Institute with greater possibilities.
In the course of the course, chapters such as the history of relations between states, the structure and dynamics of power in the world order, problems related to peace and war, international security and regional conflicts are addressed, international economy and regional integration, the role of international cooperation, the nature of diplomacy and the formulation of foreign policy, decision-making and international negotiation instruments.
