English requirements

You can prove you are reasonably proficient at speaking and writing English (level B2, European Framework), if you:

  • obtained a Flemish or Dutch diploma giving access to higher education.
  • passed the ITACE test level B2 (only for applicants who already reside in Belgium).
  • obtained the minimum score on one of the following internationally recognized language tests:
    • IELTS 6.5
    • TOEFL iBT 79 or CBT 213 or PBT 550 (use institution code C070)
    • TOEIC Listening 490 + Reading 455 + Speaking 200 + Writing 200
    • SAT Reasoning Test Critical Reading 500 + Writing 500
    • ACT English 20 + Reading 20
    • Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) grade A, B or C
    • Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) grade A, B or C
  • obtained an English-language diploma in Secondary or Higher Education from an institution of one of the following countries: United Kingdom, United States of America, New Zealand, Australia, Canada (except Quebec), Ireland, Caribbean islands & South Africa
  • followed your previous education in a partner institution with which Thomas More has an agreement on language requirements.

You’ll organise international trips for our tutors, and you’ll be responsible for all customer service events, from reservation to worst-case scenario communication. With your bachelor’s degree in International Tourism & Leisure you are desired on the labour market. Or you could start your own project. During your training, you’ll deepen your understanding of tourism and leisure and may well discover the entrepreneur in you.

You’ll work at travel agencies, in the hospitality industry, for tour operators, incoming agents, tourism boards, museums and cultural organisations, event planners, congress centres, meeting and incentive houses, theme parks, airlines, cruise lines, DMC’s, or as a travel consultant, a conference guest relations sales or project manager… within the tourism sector or in other businesses.
