After Graduation

Get to work

With your bachelor’s degree in International Tourism & Leisure, you are desired in the labor market. Or you could start your own project. During your training, you’ll deepen your understanding of tourism and leisure and may well discover the entrepreneur in you.

You’ll work at travel agencies, in the hospitality industry, for tour operators, incoming agents, tourism boards, museums, and cultural organisations, event planners, congress centres, meeting and incentive houses, theme parks, airlines, cruise lines, DMC’s, or as a travel consultant, a conference guest relations sales or project manager, within the tourism sector or in other businesses.

Graduates have splendid career opportunities all around the world.

EEA candidates

Application procedure
  1. Apply online: submit an online application.
  2. File assessment (+- 2 weeks) & Submit supporting documents (if you haven’t already provided all the necessary documents).
  3. If approved, you will receive a letter of admission.
  4. Register online.
  5. Start your student life!
Admission requirements
  • Diploma requirements:
    if you’re qualified to start an equivalent programme in higher education in the country where you completed your secondary education, then you’re qualified for admission to Thomas More. Additional requirements may be set for candidates with a diploma obtained in a non-EEA member state.
  • Language requirements:
    you need to be reasonably proficient at speaking and writing English (level B2, European Framework).
  • Additional requirements for abridged programmes and postgraduates:
    Those applying to our abridged programmes and postgraduates will have some extra requirements to meet in addition to the standard diploma and language requirements. Please check the programme’s webpage to find detailed information about the requirements as well as the contact details of the programme manager. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have further questions or need assistance.

Non-EEA candidates

Immigration and visas in Belgium

  • Students coming from the European Economic Area, Monaco or Switzerland can enroll in an undergraduate degree programme in Belgium without a student visa.
  • All other students need to apply for a visa before coming to Belgium. You can apply at the Belgian Consulate or Embassy in your country or in the country where you legally reside.
