The Professional Bachelor Degree programme in International Sales & Marketing Management is a top-up programme designed for graduates of the AP Degree programme in Marketing Management focusing on the following fields:

Specialisation in Africa - become a first mover!

Achieve specialist knowledge about the African growth market and do your internship on this enormous continent!

For many years, the East has been in focus as the largest growth market. However, this tendency is changing. In recent years, the world's leading economic experts have pointed to Africa as the market with the greatest growth potential, and many Afircan countries are already seeing high growth rates.

With a specialisation in African trading, UCN Export & Marketing want to increase focus on the African continent in students and businesses alike. The African trading specialisation is a supplement to the ordinary study programme in International Sales and Marketing, but it does not prolong your period of study. This means that you must apply for admission to the specialisation and state the reasons why you should be granted one of the 20 exclusive annual places on the specialisation programme.

For you as a students this means that you will achieve new and attractive specialist knowledge about the new growth markets in Africa. Furthermore you will get the chance to test your acquired skills in Africa during the compulsory internship period.

Study start

The programme starts in September and is located in Hobrovej 85, 9000 Aalborg.

Admission requirements

Admission with an academy profession degree:

  • Marketing Management - admission with a passed degree
  • Service, Hospitality & Tourism Management and Financial Management
  • Students with good grades on their degree certificates from either of these programmes can apply for admission by individual prior learning assessment (known as ‘IKV’ in Danish).

English tests

  • IELTS Overall grade of 6.5
  • TOEFL Internet-based test: minimum score of 83
  • Cambridge ESOL examinations:
    • C1 Advanced (CAE): grade C, B or A
    • C2 Proficiency (CPE): grade C, B or A
    • B2 First (FCE): grade A
  • Online Oxford Placement Test: Minimum score of B2 = a minimum score of 75 in each of the subtests - only valid if taken via a UCN partner organisation
  • Pearson PTE Academic: minimum score of 58

Specific admission requirements

Special attention is given to the grade average of your degree certificate as well as your motivation and experience. Applicants may be requested to attend an interview, for instance using Skype.

Danish qualification levels

All of our study programmes require that applicants/students have an English level corresponding to a Danish B-level, and some programmes have requirements to students’ levels in other subjects as well. Contact us for more information.
