Career Possibilities

Event Manager

As an event manager, you work at agencies, public institutions, or companies. While you look after different and changing clients in an agency, with other employers you may only be responsible for your own company. In agencies, you can take on responsibility quickly and look after your own projects early, but you usually have more regular working hours in companies.

Conference Organiser

As a conference organizer, you are faced with the constant challenge of developing existing conference concepts and breaking new ground. You are responsible for the conception, implementation, and equipment of the event, implement meeting points for trade fair visitors and exhibitors, suppliers and providers and ensure the process runs smoothly.

Event & Banquet Manager in Hotels

As a banquet manager, you take care of advertising and selling events and are responsible for the entire area, from the development of the offer to the planning and implementation of the billing. The design of advertising materials and the preparation of cost estimates for specific inquiries are also part of the job. When an event is booked, you provide for the appropriate premises and inform the kitchen, bar, and service. For events outside the facility, you are responsible for all planning and supervising work, as well as for the final bill.
