Program Overview and Objectives
The Bachelor’s program “International business” is aimed at training specialists skilled in peculiarities of business and management, owning knowledge in the areas of the world economics, business law and specializing in BRICS countries – China, India, Brazil or Republic of South Africa. Through this Bachelor’s program, our students grow in-depth interdisciplinary knowledge, practical skills allowing them to confidently orientate and make decisions in different fields of international business. The program involves distinguished men of science and specialists at the leading foreign universities, companies, and analytical centres. Bachelor’s students take part in academic mobility programs providing no less than one-semester training at BRICS partner universities. This educational track is accessible during the third year of study. Each of the students spends a year of business studies at one of the leading universities in the country they have studied.
We train specialists able to develop and implement a strategy; who can manage an international business or make effective carrier at transnational companies; well-grounded in BRICS countries business, concerning the law, business and investment structure in a certain country; able to build sustainable relations facilitating effective negotiations with companies and state authorities of BRICS countries.
The program offers to learn mathematics and statistics; management; IT in management; strategic management; marketing; project management; economics (micro- and macroeconomics, economic theory); politology; philosophy; world culture and market of arts; regional studies; BRICS area studies; international business; business English, BRICS business languages.
Our graduates will be able to make a career at the global transnational corporations, open own business and develop it as well as to work for the governmental authorities to attract investors from BRICS countries. Also, they will be able to start joint enterprises with partners from BRICS countries and act as consultants for the biggest companies.
Students will have to undergo a semester or one-year internship at one of the partner universities of BRICS countries. They will study business, business ethics, negotiation aspects, and the business law of the country.
Furthermore, the program provides the opportunity to learn another foreign language.
