With time, the fashion designer figure has changed pretty much. Starting from the second postwar period, with the industrialization of fashion, its activity influenced the social-cultural change of our country, transforming social moods and habits.
Today, the fashion designer isn’t just someone who draws a collection, but the one who creates fashion trends and often predicts the market needs through his/her stylistic intuitions.
A professional figure with a great technical knowledge of materials, who often works at consulting offices or companies in close contact with the commercial area, the prototyping, quality control and production.
The course illustrates in detail the coloring and drawing techniques by freeing the imagination and the creation of several clothes and accessories models. The course is complete and let the student learn the work and the graphic design method of the collection in each of its stages: from the study of trends to the fashion sketch, from the graphic realization via software (Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator), passing through the study of the history of Fashion and textile Commodities, the technical sheet and illustration techniques; from the study of rendering techniques to the production of a portfolio.
Exams and Tests
Teachers will make tests every month by following the progress of the study plan, in order to check the walk of the students and help them in case of issues or backlogs about the study plan. At the end of the course, with a successful result, the student can take the final exam to get the professional qualify diploma as Fashion Designer.
An external board composed of professionals of the industry will examine the collections designed by the students. Once they present the work, the students will have to answer the examiners’ questions and eventually to objections as well, in order to show a certain self-confidence when covering the technical sheets subject; the students will illustrate the technical contents of their work and answer to objections by the examiners, showing their own professional maturity.

It’s possible to set up an attendance of a minimum of 16 hours per week, up to a maximum of 32. Students can choose between the full-time attendance (morning and afternoon) and the Part-time one (morning only or afternoon only).
