Currently, one of the priority development world power engineer industry is the creation and exploitation of intelligent electricity systems, combining achievements in the field of energy and information technologies. Not only the development sector but also the power sector is needed in specialists, who can plan, create and use innovative solutions in different situations. Preparation for the educational program «Electricity» consists of the formation of the abilities and scientific research skills, the ability to apply specialized software and simulate intelligent electrical systems.
Specific of professional bachelor activity of «Electricity» is in the designing of electricity supply industrial systems, divisions of enterprises, lighting of industries, counting parameters of the scheme (of parameters of transformer substations, cable lines, currents, voltages, frequency), working with electrical equipment, which provided power supply to residential complexes and industrial enterprises. Also, this species is in working with objects of the high level of danger for workers (high voltage, high currents), in the necessity of compliance with occupational health and safety requirements, as well as ensuring the safety of personnel and the environment. Design of electricity systems is hard technician stage in the realization of automation and industrial electricity supply. At the period of education, students gain knowledge and practical skills in the topics of design industrial electricity supply, calculation of electrical loads, the number and power of power transformers, taking into account the reactive power compensation, calculations of short-circuit currents, selection of the main electrical equipment of the intra-shop and intra-factory network.

Special issues of designing power supply systems for industrial capital construction projects.
Within the framework of the educational program "Electricity", bachelors master a number of practices: Educational practice (introductory); Educational practice (profiling); Production practice (design and technological); Production practice (project practice); Production practice (pre-graduate practice).
As part of the training plan, students receive a working profession "Electrician for the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment (by industry)" of 2 categories and the second group of electrical safety.
