This BSc programme in Economics and Business Administration is a general bachelor programme in economics and business administration with a focus on the management of firms' resources. This 3-year undergraduate programme is offered at Campus Odense.

Our general business programme gives you a thorough grounding in all functional areas of a firm through a number of economic, legal and organizational topics in the business organization. We offer this concentration in Business Management with a distinct focus on the optimization of resources. Apart from business issues, the programme also considers socio-economic aspects and the joint interaction between economics and business administration.

The BSc in Economics and Business Administration provides you with the knowledge and capabilities needed to understand business management on a national and global scale. In specific terms, you learn to analyze the firm's financial problems and issues and develop business strategies. In addition, you learn about the organisation, accounting, marketing, corporate finance and innovation, and you obtain insight into the theories and quantitative methods used to understand companies' internal and external relations.

This degree programme focuses on Business Management, which involves integrating IT technology and quantitative methods to process and analyze data to create insights into organizational decision-making regarding optimization. The programme offers small classes and insight into application areas such as information systems, operations, and supply chain management.

The Bachelor of Science programme consists of 6 semesters – with approx. 15 lessons per week. As a student, you are the person being in charge of acquiring skills and knowledge. Teaching is offered, but attending lectures is not the primary activity for a student enrolled at the university. Skills and knowledge are not only developed in connection with teaching, but in a more important way through studies, fieldwork/research, preparation of assignments, and especially through the interaction with fellow students.

The bachelor’s project

A bachelor programme ends with a bachelor’s project during the sixth term. This offers you the opportunity – usually in collaboration with a business or an organization – to put into practice the knowledge you have acquired. The project, therefore, makes it possible for you to specialize in one or the subjects or one of the areas you have become particularly interested in during your studies.
