Skills & Competencies
Program graduates are capable of carrying out chemical experiments, analyzing their results, and performing computer modeling. The program helps students to understand the principles of applying chemical processes for different purposes, theoretical (thermodynamic, kinetic, structural) and experimental methods. The program teaches students to become more efficient in teamwork and to apply practical results of their studies in real life.
Main subjects
General and Inorganic Chemistry
Analytical Chemistry
Organic Chemistry
Chemical Thermodynamics
Chemical Kinetics
Chemistry of Colloids
Applied Chemistry
Polymer Chemistry
Structure of Matter
Mathematics
Physics
Some humanities and elective professional courses are also taught.
Usually, most theoretical classes are held within the 1st and 2nd years of the program, yet certain classes may also take place during the 3rd year.
While following the program, students will carry out research and experimental work at BelSU laboratories. Most research work is conducted during the 4th year of the program. Upon the termination of their research activities, students prepare a graduation research work (undergraduate thesis).
To complete the program, students present and defend their Bachelor theses.
