Program Description

The Bachelor's Degree in Administration Secretariat aims to train senior personnel qualified to perform functions in various areas of administration, namely: Administrative Administrative Officer Assistant, Assistant Director, Secretary (a) Direction and Administration, Planning Assistant, Assistant Marketing, Public Relations, among others.

In terms of goals and skills, graduates in Administration Secretariat should acquire a conceptual, technical and human that provides adequate performance to the functions of a professional secretariat, by learning effective working methods and skills development to communication level, namely: - Understand the evolution of the Secretariat and the new requirements of the function; - Distinguish the inherent functions to different levels of the Secretariat; - Knowing the profile of the secretarial profession; - Acquire rapid circulation of technical information; - Adopt a method to facilitate mail handling effectively; - Learn ways to treat the mail to be sent rigorously; - To adopt a method that makes the job faster; - Acknowledge to the need to develop a cosmetic care; - Identify organizational problems; - Acquire techniques to organize meetings effectively - To know all the aspects to be taken into account in the choice and preparation of sites - Understanding the importance of control chips for effective organization - Know the actions to be taken during and after the meeting - Learn the procedures for planning travel - Know the different types of travel - Distinguish tasks depending on the type of trip - Understand the importance of a good reception on the image of an institution - Know aspects to be considered for receiving visitors - Acquire techniques communications that promote a positive reception - Organize conferences, seminars, symposia and the like, at national and international level.

Criada pelo Decreto-Lei 264/99 de 14 Julho, a Escola Superior de Tecnologia e Gestão de Lamego entrou em funcionamento no ano lectivo de 2000/2001, com os cursos de Gestão e Informática e Gestão Turística, Cultural e Patrimonial. Em 2002-03 entrou em funcionamento o curso de Engenharia Informática e Telecomunicações, em 2004- 2005 os cursos de Contabilidade e Auditoria e Serviço Social, em 2005-2006 os cursos de Informação Turística e de Secretariado de Administração, em 2007/2008 o curso de Serviço Social Pós-laboral e em 2008/2009 o Curso de Contabilidade e Auditoria Pós-laboral.
