Having obtained this qualification, students will be able to apply critical competencies and skills in the production of artworks, visual research and the completion of workplace experience, required for a professional career in the visual-cultural industries.
A National Diploma: Fine Art or an equivalent qualification at an equivalent standard, as determined by a Status Committee.
An average mark of 60% for all third-year modules is recommended. Applicants must also submit written and practical work, as determined by a Selection Committee.

Practical work is completed under supervision.
Art Theory 4 course work is completed by participation in seminars and the presentation of papers, with integrated assessment.
Summative assessment is conducted by a departmental Assessment Committee and an external moderator.
