What is a BSc in Parks and Recreation Management? In this program of study, students learn how to integrate the needs of natural areas with the needs of the people who wish to use them. Courses will include studying plants, wildlife, history, planning, communication and management. Programs often include some fieldwork as well. In the later years of study, one can often choose to specialize, for example in community park management or in wildlife services.

The degree prepares students to work in all types of parks, from local recreational centers to larger wildlife preserves. With its focus on both nature and people, it prepares students to better integrate into communities, becoming valuable members of them.

The cost of this undergraduate degree will vary, depending on what academic institution you choose and where it is located. There are many international colleges and universities offering programs online that can help to lower the expense.
