A BSc (Bachelor of Science) is an undergraduate course of study that takes students three to five years to complete.  While in school, students complete a variety of courses to prepare for additional education or future job opportunities.

In a college mathematics major, algebra courses will focus on ring theory and algebraic geometry. The geometry most often studied is differential geometry, which focuses on the properties of curves and surfaces. Logic is another subject that is often offered within a mathematics program.
