The program is designed to provide our students with the knowledge and associated skills in the broad field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The course includes the fundamentals of sound systems, sound engineering, sound for TV and film, special effects, computer games audio design, electronic music, the scientific principles of sound, studio techniques, live sound and PA systems, sound synthesis and MIDI. A work placement period in the second year provides a useful link into the industry.
