Some of the career directions our students have taken are listed in the panel on the right. Students majoring in chemistry are not required to obtain a minor. However, many students in the chemistry program obtain minors, or in some cases double majors, in the related areas of biology, earth science, physics and mathematics. We are pleased that nearly 100% of our BS Chemistry or Biochemistry majors who apply to medical schools have been accepted.
