A Bachelor of Science is the degree of choice for students interested in science, mathematics, or other related studies. Taking approximately three to five years to complete, the bachelor’s program is rewarding to students, as it allows them to pursue a graduate education or journey down their desired career paths.

What is a BSc in Aerospace Engineering? Aerospace engineering encompasses many different academic fields, from chemistry to physics to humanities. The curriculum for the program is extensive, with students expected to master various objectives before the end of their undergraduate education. Once they complete the program, students are expected to have an understanding of experimental and design aspects of aerospace engineering as well as various industrial practices. Some of the courses taught in the program include principles of mechanical engineering, critical systems analysis, and general chemistry. In some schools, there are tracks available to students that permit them to focus on a particular area of study.

As the 21st century continues to progress, the demand for aerospace engineers will grow. The future holds many possibilities for prospective engineers. By enrolling in a bachelor’s program, students secure lucrative and rewarding career paths for themselves.

Bachelor’s degree programs take approximately four years to complete depending on their structure. Tuition and fees vary from school to school, and students should contact their preferred college to determine the cost of enrollment.

The field of aerospace engineering is filled with career opportunities. Many students find careers as physical scientists, mathematicians, or teachers. Unsurprisingly, a large percentage of graduates go on to become aerospace engineers, but this is not the only engineering discipline available. Students also work as biomedical, architectural, environmental, and nuclear engineers. For a few lucky graduates, a career as an astronaut or mission specialist is also a viable option. There are so many options open to those with an educational background in aerospace engineering.

Many international schools offer a degree program in aerospace engineering, and students also have the option to enroll in online classes. Search for your program below and contact the admission office of the school of your choice by filling in the lead form.

The Bachelor’s of Aviation science is a four-year degree and is the only aviation degree at SUU. It's the recommended degree for both helicopter and airplane students. Because it is approved for FAA Restricted ATP, this degree is very advantageous for fixed-wing students. That means by completing this bachelor’s degree you only need 1000 flight hours (rather than 1500) to take your ATP check ride. This is a typical entry point into an airline pilot job. By completing this bachelor’s you save time and can potentially get an airline job sooner. -
