What is a BSc in Actuarial Sciences? A BSc in Actuarial Sciences involves the study of both mathematics and social sciences to compute complex risk assessments for a range of sectors. Students who enroll in such a program will likely take classes such as Mathematical Structures, Introduction to Statistics and Probability, Finance for Actuarial Science, and Contingencies for Insurance. These courses, in conjunction with an emphasis on social science, can equip students to tackle actuarial issues.
