Scholarships and Financial Aid
In order to support qualified students in financing their studies, RIT Croatia has secured over € 350,000.00 for financial aid for enrollment in the 2019/2020 academic year. Scholarships and financial aid are monetary funds applied towards the tuition cost of attending the university over four years of study.
This is a multidisciplinary, four-year program that provides an ideal balance of hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge in economy, tourism, and hospitality. The main emphasis is on the disciplines of marketing, communication, finances, hospitality management, hotel management, micro and macroeconomics, entrepreneurship, and the application of these areas to international hospitality and tourism.
At the end of the sophomore year, students choose one of two concentrations:
- Entrepreneurship in the Hospitality Industry
- Designing Luxury Experience.
All classes are conducted in English. In addition to advanced business English, students learn another foreign language and can choose from German, Italian, Spanish, or French. You can find more information about the program HERE.
This program has been accredited in the U.S. by the reputable organization The Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The quality of RIT’s Hospitality and Tourism Management program has been recognized by renowned media sources such as Forbes, Travel Weekly and Corporate Travel. RIT’s hospitality and tourism programs are ranked among the “20 best tourism degree programs” in the U.S. according to The BestSchools.org.
Students are required to complete a minimum of 1,200 hours of cooperative education or internship placements. This hands-on experience provides students with valuable professional experience and gives them a competitive advantage in finding employment. In Croatia and around the world, students conduct co-ops in companies such as The Club at Admirals Cove, Carnival Cruise Line, Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Dubai, Dubrovnik Riviera Hotels, Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik, HTP Korčula, Meneghetti, Porto Montenegro, The Broadmoor Hotel, Valamar Riviera, and Dubrovnik Airport.
Globally recognized American degree
Upon completion of your studies, you will be granted two diplomas, an international American degree awarded by RIT and a Croatian degree from RIT Croatia.

Throughout their studies and after graduation, our students have excellent business opportunities in Croatia and abroad. They continue to develop their careers in tourism, hospitality but vairous other industries as well. Our alumni often develop their careers as EU Project Manager, Event Manager, Events & Wedding Planner, F&B Manager, Hotel General Manager, consultant or Operations Manager.
