Program Description

Bachelor of Science (Honours) Business Information Systems is a three-year full time course. The BSc (Hons) Business Information Systems aims to develop skills in the areas of systems analysis, web, mobile and database development as well as provides wide range of optional modules from the finance, marketing and human resource management building awareness of a wide range of managerial and organisational issues. The underlying philosophy of the course is to emphasize the close relationship between information technology and business with the application of the relevant theory underpinning IT enabled business practices.

It is for those who wish:

  • To become a professional in System Analysis, Information Systems development and management, providing IT solutions to business problems
  • To become a manager with a specific focus on the role of information systems using the knowledge of business disciplines including finance, marketing and human resource management
  • To become a project manager leading various web, mobile and game development projects
  • To develop your own business in the area of Information Technology and Telecommunication
  • To develop a teaching/academic career in a challenging and practical subject area of Information systems

Entry Requirements:

  • English – at least IELTS 6,0 (writing 6,0) or TOEFL 82 iBT
  • Maths – at least 40% in WIUT Maths Exam or a certificate proving maths competence (GCSE, SAT)
