Introduction
BSc (Hons) in Mathematical Sciences
This programme equips students with an understanding of modern mathematics and strong analysis, reasoning, computing, and communication skills. Students tailor the curriculum to their interests by choosing one of four tracks of study, and optionally pursuing concentrations in Computational Mathematics or the Mathematics of Information and Communication.
Students also have the chance to specialize in a Track on Business Analytics, combining foundational mathematics courses with business and finance courses from the Nanyang Business School and the School of Computer Engineering. Students can be admitted to the Business Analytics Track based on performance and interviews after the first year of study.
