How You Study
You can gain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the events phenomenon, particularly exploring how event planning and management has evolved towards creating meaningful and inclusive environments in an interconnected world.
'Events' is an economic and social phenomenon that cannot be considered in isolation from its wider global business context. Therefore, you will study a range of foundational business-related modules in the first year.
Starting from theoretical principles and concepts of event planning and management, you will deepen your professional knowledge in the second year by studying event design and production, project management, and event operations, incorporating resource and legal issues. You will also be encouraged to analyse event planning and management through the lenses of sustainability, diversity and inclusivity, and technology and innovation.
In your final year, you will apply your professional knowledge in our live events module, and critically reflect on events practice and research.
