As cities grow in size, demand for the kind of infrastructure designed by Civil Engineers rises. This means transportation, water supply, wastewater treatment, and flood control. Civil Engineers often lead or participate in projects revolving around foundation analysis, building and structural inspection, surveying, geomatics, and municipal planning.
