Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business (BBA) The Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business (BBA) programme in International Business has been designed to meet the requirements of internationally oriented small and medium sized enterprises. It is intended for both Finnish and international students wishing to seek employment in international trade and marketing. The programme takes 3.5 years to complete. The extent of the degree is 210 ECTS cr. The programme consists of 60 ECTS cr of basic studies, 90 ECTS cr of professional studies, 30 ECTS cr of practical training, 15 ECTS cr of free-choice studies and 15 ECTS cr of a Bachelor's thesis. The programme leads to the Degree of a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA, in Finnish Tradenomi). Studies include courses in marketing, international business, negotiation skills, management, SAP, languages and computing. Practical training is carried out during the autumn term of the third year either in Finland or abroad. After graduation students typically work in international marketing and sales, international co-operation, logistics and controlling. The programme emphasises interaction within a multicultural group and it comprises of lectures, discussions, group works, presentations, projects, case studies and working-life co-operation.
