BA Business Management (Project Management) Honours
Course start: Induction from October 2013; International student orientation from September 2013
Our BA Business Management (Project Management) course will provide you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to build a successful management career. In addition to studying the theory that underpins modern business principles, you will develop the analytical and decision-making skills that will allow you to identify key processes and systems whilst challenging current project management ideologies and practices.
Your first year of study has been designed to provide you with a broad understanding of key business functions, providing the foundation on which you can start to tailor your course to your own areas of interest.
As you progress through your course, the Project Management pathway aims to explore specific factors contributing to business success. You will learn how to manage projects in a wide range of sectors and environments, devise project plans and responses whilst also contributing to business effectiveness.
In your second and third years, you will study modules including Management Strategy and Managing Business Projects with the further option of studying modules including Developing Projects with Software, Developing Successful Project Plans and Operational Management Modelling.
Professional recognition This course is recognized by the Chartered Management Institute and on successful completion of the course, you will be an Associate member of CMI. Once you have gained relevant work experience you may upgrade to a full member.

UK/EU students £9,000 per year of full-time study
International students £10,400 per year of full-time study Please note that there are no additional fees to pay if you choose to take a year-long work placement between year two and three.
We normally make offers on a minimum of 260 UCAS tariff points, plus GCSE Maths and English Language at grade C. BTEC National Diploma/International Baccalaureate/Advanced Progression Diplomas at equivalent tariff. Access to HE - Pass. Applications from candidates without formal qualifications are welcomed.
International entry requirements
We accept the equivalent of UK entry requirements from a recognized overseas qualification.
English language requirements
You must have competence in English language and we normally require Grade C GCSE or an equivalent qualification. The most common English Language requirements for international students are IELTS 6.0 (with minimum 5.5 in all four components) or TOEFL internet based 72 (with at least 17 in listening & writing, 20 in speaking and 18 in reading).
Middlesex also offers an Intensive Academic English course (Pre-Sessional) that ranges from 5-17 weeks depending on your level of English. Successful completion of this course would meet English language entry requirements.
