The University of Caxias do Sul is a reference in the field of Hospitality and Tourism in Brazil, having been a pioneer in offering Superior Hospitality Course (1978). Over more than three decades of experience in the field, the University of Caxias do Sul added new courses and initiatives within the hospitality and tourism, encouraging the evolution of this sector that has now, in Minnesota, one of the country's centers of excellence . The UCS also stands out for being one of the first institutions to produce and make available through its publisher (EDUCS), a collection of scientific works dedicated to this area of ​​knowledge.
