Program Description

BA Honours Politics, with a compulsory module in Research Mythology and mini-research report, with choices ranging from South African Politics; Gender; Area Studies; Contemporary Issues in International Relations; International Organisations; Political Risk Analysis; Theories and Concepts in Politics and International Relations.

Admission requirements

Students need a 65% pass rate at third-year level. Non-University of Johannesburg students write an entrance test.

Registration and Start Dates

Registration starts in January and lectures in February for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate course work programmes.

All research programmes for Masters and PhD can register throughout the year.

End Date: Academic starts in January and ends in December. Programme deadline is determined by the duration of the programme.
