Course Overview
Through established industry links, well-equipped design studios and access to facilities for animation, book production, digital publishing, photography, printmaking and video, this illustration course will allow you to develop your own illustrative style and be prepared for a number of different roles in the industry.
Across this degree programme, you’ll refine your craft. Not only will you harness and develop new skills, but you’ll also learn how to articulate your ideas in your work, in a collaborative setting and with prospective employers. With a strong focus on visual narrative and documentary, you’ll learn through studio-based projects, workshops, regular tutorials as well as group reviews.
Unlike other illustration courses in London, LCCA is committed to providing programmes that give students not just theoretical knowledge but practical experience. As such, during this Illustration degree, you’ll be involved with shows and live projects as well as external competitions, all of which will add value to your portfolio of work. Additionally, you’ll experience a programme of workshops, pop-up exhibitions, visiting speakers and external visits.
